1、 Features of centralized gas supply system:

Economy: the construction of a centralized gas cylinder room can save limited laboratory space, and there is no need to cut off the gas when replacing the gas cylinder, so as to maintain the continuous supply of gas. Users only need to manage fewer cylinders and pay less for cylinder rentals because points using the same gas come from the same source. This mode of supply will eventually reduce transportation costs, reduce the amount of gas remaining in empty bottles, and ensure good management of cylinders.

In view of the problems existing in the past use, the modern laboratory has reformed the use environment of carrier gas, that is, "centralized gas supply system", that is, centralized storage of used gas (hereinafter referred to as carrier gas), and then the gas is transported to the gas point through metal or other material pipes through the principle of pressure difference. Its advantages mainly include the following points:
1. First solve the problem of cylinder placement. If the location of the gas cylinder room is in the same room as the laboratory as far as possible, if the location of the gas cylinder room is in the same building as the laboratory, the location of the gas cylinder room should be located in a room with less pedestrian flow. In this way, the cylinder can be separated from the staff and instruments, even if the harmful gas leaks, it will not cause direct injury.
2. Gas mixing. According to the nature of the gas (actually flammable and explosive gases (such as H2, natural gas, acetylene, etc.), carrier gas cylinders are respectively concentrated in one cylinder room. )They are stored separately from combustion supporting gases such as oxygen and chlorine.
3. The third is to solve the problem of cylinder pressure.
