laboratory Carrier gas and fuel gas are required for gas consuming equipment and analytical instruments such as chromatographs and mass spectrometers. In order to ensure the stability of these gases, it is necessary to design and install the gas loop system reasonably. In recent years, with the increase of laboratory investment and the diversification of instruments and equipment, the laboratory gas consumption has increased year by year. The traditional decentralized gas supply mode not only makes the layout of the laboratory appear chaotic, but also makes the management and maintenance of the laboratory more difficult. Therefore, how to form a set of centralized gas supply system is an important problem to complete the laboratory gas circuit transformation.
 
1、 Central air supply system in laboratory
 
The gas cylinders of the centralized gas supply system in the laboratory are placed in the gas cylinder room (three core tips: gas cylinders should be placed in different cylinder rooms according to the flammability and non flammability of the gas). The gas is dispersed and piped to each laboratory (instrument end). The pressure and flow of the gas can also be directly regulated by the pressure reducing valve of the pressure reducer, so as to realize the control of the gas.
The centralized system of laboratory gas circuit reconstruction is mainly designed from three aspects: safety, economy and purity
1. Safety: steel cylinders (cylinders) should be placed in a safe area outside the working area. In case of emergency, the operator can cut off the gas supply through the remote cut-off system. The storage space between cylinders should be set up properly and the ventilation system should be decorated properly.


 
2. Economy and purity: different gases have their own supply points, so the number of cylinders managed will not be too much, which reduces the transportation cost and the loss of residual gas in air cylinders. At the same time, the possibility of impurities entering the cylinder is reduced.
 
2、 What are the design requirements of the laboratory gas circuit?


 
1. A metal hose that can withstand high pressure should be set between the cylinder connector and the regulating valve to facilitate the cylinder replacement.

3. In order to ensure the purity of the gas and the air tightness of the pipeline system, the secondary decompression system is selected. All the pipes are 316L stainless steel pipes, and the inner surface is treated by AP.
The connection between the valve and the valve should be made of double clamp for easy maintenance. The control panel of the control valve is usually made of stainless steel.
5. In order to consider the safety of laboratory gas circuit transformation, oxygen should not contact with dirt and organic matter to avoid combustion; for the storage of corrosive gas, if it is not frequently used, do not put it in the laboratory, and the cylinder and accessories should be checked frequently.
