Birthday Party in a Box

Fair warning: I may use this idea on others, so if you read this and get a similar box for your birthday (even if it’s years from now) just act really really surprised and pretend you didn’t see it here first. This was too fun not to use again.

My best friend’s parents (who are like another set of parents to me) sent this princess birthday party in a box for Sophie’s birthday, and we all loved it. Along with gifts for Sophie, there were a couple of shiny stuffed animal fish (both of the girls LOVED them) a princess dress up gown, there was (in the photo) a banner, cups, plates, napkins, party hats, wands (for the princesses, of course), candles, and icing and tips for the icing… because there was also a cake. They even thought to send a present for Grace, who was thrilled to see her name on a gift. (A purse, by the way, which now contains two chopsticks, a tissue, and a board book – all of which replaced the felt pizza she originally had inside.

Soph really didn’t want to let go of that fish

Best birthday box ever? I think yes.

This was day 4 of 7 in the 7 post in 7 days challenge hosted by Jen, so you can blame her for all the posting lately.

My mom wanted to write a comment that she loved this post, but couldn’t figure out how. So I’m going to embarrass her and do it for her because I’m such a great daughter. 🙂

What a cute idea! Even a gift for the big sister- they thought of everything. 🙂
