WIWS + Father’s Day Best

Linking up with FLAP and Camp Patton, as usual

Outfit details-
top: Kohl’s
cami: Bumped
(old) pants: Gap (you know they’re old by los flared legs)
sandals: Tevas

Mass Grades:
The girls pleasantly surprised us and get A’s this week. I give most of the credit to the family with four kids sitting behind us – they provided enough entertainment to keep our kids quiet. I think the girl was around three and the triplet boys are probably 18 months, so Mass with our two kids was cake compared to them. Grace and Sophie were both content to be held so they could watch the busy (not bad! just busy) kids behind us. I don’t know if our kids were a distraction for them, but I did hear whispers about our baby between the “Be naughty!” ones from the pew behind us. Grace then made up for her good behavior by throwing a tantrum when she didn’t get the diaper with the character that she wanted on it at nap time- because no, she still isn’t potty trained.

And now I’m off to enjoy Father’s Day with the family, by which I mean I’ll be eating one of the doughnuts that Grace convinced Joe would be a good idea (she was right) and keeping Sophia the Grouch entertained so Joe doesn’t have to. I figure it’s the least I can do for the most selfless guy I know.

Oh yeah, you’ve discovered how to make your children behave better at Mass…sit near more kids. And even if that makes them behave worse, nobody else in the church can tell exactly which kid is being naughty 🙂

Love that shirt! And we really need to start seeking out other kids to sit next to at Mass… The babies are always quieter when they have someone to smile at and the big kids are just in awe of other kids!

Second the shirt love! And I hear you about the pants- I lived in flare-legged pants the first few months pp since they were the only non-mat. that fit. I feel guilty saying this, but it IS nice when your kids are quietly distracted by more distracting kids. 🙂 Such a cute mom/ daughter photo!
