What I Wore Easter Sunday + OTI Linkup

If you’ve been here before, you’ll notice that my blog looks different from what it used to- I’m switching to WordPress and still working out a few kinks as I go.

I’m linking up with the usual FLAP┬áthis week, and joining the Easter one that Grace, Kayla, and Erica are hosting as well. Because nothing says, “He is Risen!” like seeing what I wore to Mass.

We didn’t manage to get a nice family photo like I had hoped and we may have forgotten to give Grace her Easter basket (she didn’t remember either!), but we did get a pew at Mass and both girls were well-behaved, so I suppose it was still a win.

and without the cardi:

We did snap a pic of Grace, so maybe on the next holiday (what is that? Memorial Day?) we’ll get photos of Joe and Sophie instead.

and now for the all-important details:

on me:
cardigan: Target (I think) on loan from my sister
dress: Kohl’s
shoes: Target
earrings: made by me

on Grace:
slightly small cardigan: Gymboree (thrifted)
dress: hand-me-down

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! We went to my mom’s house, and feasted on lamb and ravioli (and much more, but those were the highlights) before joining 57 of my closest relatives (we counted) and my grandparents’ to -get this- eat more.

Now off you go to check out all the other fine ladies who dressed up for Easter!

Wrap dresses. They’re a beautiful thing for postpartum mamas.

Beautiful dress! Super-flattering – you can always stage a family picture later and pretend it was the same day ;)

Your dress is beautiful!! It caught my eye right away when I was going through the link-up (I’m a sucker for anything mint green!) It looks great with the black cardi too. Also, I love your little girl’s pink cardi :) She’s adorable!

I usually prefer brighter colors, but I love mint right now, too!
